Minimum Requirements

Qualification(s):

• Grade 12 / N 3 and Trade Test.

Experience:

• 2 Year’s Apprenticeship training.

• Plant safety regulations.
• Analytical skills.
• Decision making skills.
• Knowledge of basic Mechanics.
• Knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Valid National Drivers’ license.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance activities as per plant safety regulations, preventative maintenance plan and maintenance procedures.
• Attend meetings within allocated section.
• Attend to equipment care and personal safety.
• Perform any other legitimate activity as required.
• Standby duties.
• Shift work.
