Job Summary Statement

Moolmans offers services across the mining value chain, from shaft sinking, underground development, contract mining and open cut mining, to construction of mine infrastructure. Maintenance planning and financial planning for the business unit

Minimum Requirements

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Trade – Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic (minimum)
• and/or National Diploma/ Degree – Mechanical Engineering (Strong Advantage)

EXPERIENCE:

• Experience in maintenance planning is a critical requirement
• Experience in the following will be an advantage:
• Availability and utilisation of equipment
• Plant budgets and reporting (tyres, oils, etc.)
• Component change outs
• Understanding of procurement processes (requisitions, orders, etc.)
• Daily costing and reporting of equipment
• Escalation
• Understanding of Continuous Improvement and SHEQ processes

Duties & Responsibilities

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES):

• Develop system to import historical cost into AMT
• Develop system to import cost monthly into AMT
• Import historical cost into AMT
• Import cost monthly into AMT
• Create training Manuals for all financial reporting
• Supplier meetings information
• Manage ERP integration
• Develop rate make up in AMT
• Process income for sites in AMT
• Train Regional Technical Analyst to manage and process income in AMT
• Develop and run reports to support Plant Costing
• Develop and run reports to support Actual cost per machine plant
• Develop and run reports to support Life Cycle costing
• Oversee budgets on AMT

Knowledge Skills & Abilities

• Computer literacy in Microsoft office
• Site experience in a mining environment a major advantage
• Strong Analytical and Systematic thinking ability
