Job Advert Summary
An opportunity has arisen for a high caliber Welder to construct and repair steel and other metal components using a variety of welding techniques. Welds together metal components of products such as pipelines, automobiles, boilers, ships, aircraft and mobile homes with electric arc-welding equipment. Connects cables from welding unit to obtain amperage, voltage, slope and pulse, as specified by Welding Specialist.
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Welder Qualification
- At least 5 years’ experience
- Trailer repair experience (advantageous)
Duties & Responsibilities
- Delivery of customer service
- Repair and manufacture of agricultural equipment, trailers and ancillary workshop equipment
- Efficient administration with regard to the completion of job cards and material use
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety in the work environment – Maintain the wielding and cutting equipment
